UK – Mitsubishi Electric walked off with the heat pump of the year award at last night’s National ACR awards held in Birmingham Town Hall. The group won out in their category thanks to their fifth generation of Ecodan air source heat pumps.

The judges expressed their view that the launch of the fifth generation of the Ecodan range of air source heat pumps saw Mitsubishi Electric push the technological boundaries for domestic heat pumps once again and demonstrated to the market how the technology can capitalise on the significant opportunity for growth that currently exists.

In what was an extremely competitive category, the jury also singled out Space Air (on behalf of DAIKIN EUROPE) for their VRV IV i-Series and Vaillant Ltd for the first wall mounted GSHP on the market, rewarding the two companies with high commendations.
