Mitsubishi launch Chiller technology guide

UK – Yesterday saw Mitsubishi Electric launch its latest free CPD-Accredited industry guide which focuses on Chiller technologies and the role they have in helping reduce both energy consumption and running costs in modern buildings.

The company states that the guides were written in response to legislation such as the F-Gas regulations which are forcing many businesses to spend time assessing their cooling systems, while rising energy costs were also driving building owners to look into more energy efficient ways of heating and cooling their premises.

Jason Tinsley, product manager for Central Plant with Mitsubishi Electric UK, launched the guide by declaring “We’ve prepared this guide as part of a series that looks to enhance the knowledge of anyone responsible for keeping buildings a pleasant place to live, work and play in.”

The company claims that the free, independently written guide investigates the key issues facing the industry today and highlights the importance of legislation such as the revision of Part L, in addition to regulations such as Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and the new Energy Saving Opportunities Scheme (ESOS). The guide endeavours to explain that these regulations are designed to drive greater energy efficiencies in buildings and businesses.
