Non-domestic air source project winner

UK – HT Energy NIBE walked away with the award for non-domestic air source project of the year at last night’s ACR awards ceremony in Birmingham. The company won the award for work they carried out for the AV Dawson steel store.

The project comprised a specific challenge which was to be able to keep the inside ambience of a cladded building at a safe level to store valuable steel coils. The minimum temperature of the “indoor climate” could not be allowed to drop below 14 DegC in winter and could not be above 65% relative humidity at any given moment.

AV Dawson is a truly multimodal provider offering logistic services including road transport; rail freight; quayside loading and unloading as well as warehousing and storage, all from their Teesside Hub. They have created a purpose built storage facility allowing the store to hold over £15 million worth of stock at any one time.

Kimpton Energy Solutions were highly commended for the work they carried out on a Grade 1 listed Country House while Finn Geotherm – 300 Year Old Barn, Kensa Heat Pumps – Thameside Homes, TGE Group – 50,000 Bird Capacity – Oil Boiler Replacement and Viessmann Ltd – Huf Haus at Brooklands all qualified as finalists in the awards ceremony
