Rent-to-Own Heating and Cooling

USA – Carrier, the air conditioning and commercial refrigeration manufacturing division of United Technologies, has now signed a strategic agreement with Microf LLC, a company specialising in helping customers to finance their heating and cooling projects, to provide an alternative to traditional financing for qualified Carrier heating and air conditioning customers.

As a result of the deal, Microf LLC now offers its rent-to-own solution through Carrier’s extensive distributor and dealer network, thereby providing homeowners with an additional option to obtain quality products.

“Carrier is pleased to work with Microf to provide a rent-to-own HVAC option to our customers,” stated Matthew Pine, vice president, marketing, Carrier residential HVAC. “This strategic business relationship benefits customers and dealers by giving them the broadest range of options to meet their heating and cooling needs.”

The two companies hope that Microf will provide support to dealers and their customers via their user-friendly application process and specialized HVAC expertise. Customers who meet the minimum financial standards will be able to avail of the rent-to-own option while Microf claim that their alternative to traditional financing also allows more customers to enjoy improved comfort and air quality via an affordable monthly payment.

“We at Microf are excited about working with Carrier and the opportunity to expand our dealer network and customer base,” declared Jay Kimbro, Microf co-founder. “Our unique rent-to-own concept will ensure more consumers are able to meet their heating and cooling needs with an affordable monthly payment.”
