Alfa Laval announce new training courses

SWEDEN – The Swedish manufacturer Alfa Laval, a world leader in heat exchange and fluid handling, has announced details of a new training program open to all interested parties. Until now, the company offered customized training focused 100% on the specific needs as demanded by their clients. These courses are mainly dedicated to the marine industry, and take place mostly at the center in Tumba, Sweden, but also in Manila, Philippines and Denmark, in the new center in Aalborg.

Caroline Carlstedt, Training Manager at Alfa Laval, commented on the announcement: “It is important that our customers know their equipment and all factors that affect its operation; not only for reasons of safety and optimum use, but also for reduced costs of maintenance and operation. ”

Alfa Laval ensures that these open courses, compared to bespoke courses, offer guests the opportunity to share with other industry players who have the same problems, and therefore will pass expertise Alfa Laval more.

These courses will cover general topics, which may affect the greatest number, vessel owners and operators. The first of these courses, which will focus on the separators, will aim for example technicians, superintendents and operators, and will be held from February 23 to 25, 2016 at Tumbla, Sweden.
